Halaskargazi Street, one of the most valuable centers of Istanbul in terms of the city's living and commercial capacity, has transformed from a district with apartment buildings and luxury housing examples, which have become symbols of modern life since the beginning of the 20th century, into a region where small commercial establishments are concentrated. As a result of this process, which accelerated especially after the 1980s, the historical buildings of the district became neglected and worn out. In this period, when the user profile of the buildings changed, the apartment buildings, most of which lost their residential nature, became warehouses over time, causing the region to lose its status as a district. With the Lotus Nişantaşı project, we have taken an important step to restore this valuable district of Istanbul to its former glory and become a dynamic and contemporary living space again.
